FLOW! Everyone wants more FLOW! You may hear, "give up resistance" or "let it go". Or "Just go with the flow". Well how do you do that when you have been a control freak, like to be organised or addicted to routine?
The key is FEEL.
Not as easy as it sounds. From a very early age we have been taught to not feel and think our way through life. This is exhausting and keeps us creating the same reality. Contributes to the dis ease within us which is repressed and suppressed emotions. Emotions are energy in motion and need to MOVE! All emotions are equally important. We have also been taught, it is "bad" to be angry, feel fear, guilt and shame and so these emotions remain inside of us, locked away until we reach boiling point. Either thru life events, illness or PAIN.
For more FLOW. Here are 5 tips:
1. Practice deep breathing every day to access the parasympathetic nervous system (relax) response in the body.
2. Notice feelings with no judgement
3. Close your eyes: Where in your body is the emotion?
4. Give it a colour
5. Sit with it whilst deep breathing and allow the emotion until the colour changes.
Use on repeat!
